First AM2 tourney
Used my new 900 rating this weekend in Ypsilanti & entered my first tourney in Am2.... 4 strokes off the lead going into round 2 & pulled out a victory by staying calm through the storm so to speak. Couple inches of snow fell during the 2nd round. Good start to the move up eh :)
PDGA site is down right now & round ratings weren't up earlier today, I'd assume they're both pretty good. I was less than 5 strokes I think from the Am1 winner.

Ratings update/ Goals
So early this year after my first tournament (a dismal performance @ Bowling Green) I decided to focus on my game & set a goal of getting my rating to 900+ this year. To start the 08 season I was 852, after BG 842. Lots of practice & a couple dozen rated rounds later I hit 900 even with today's update!
I'll now focus on consistency. Putting, putting, putting. I think my weak point now is still a mid range putt 25-33ft. I'm pretty confident in longer "putts" that I can jump. My drives ha… Continue

CTP ACE!
Every week at Handicap league we have a ctp from the club for a choice of disc. The previous weeks winner gets to pick the hole. I aced this weeks ctp! I've always wanted to put that marker on the basket!
289ft Hyzer shot with my Am Nats D-Zone. Looked like it was a bit high & going into a tree brach so I turned around & stopped watching... A guy on my card said Holy Sh*T that MF'r went in! I spun back around just in time to see my disc settle in the basket! Very good pick me up on an ot… Continue

Tour & more update...
The tour is going great! I managed to qualify for the PDGA United States Amatuer Championships last weekend on the famed toboggan course in Milford, Michigans Kensignton Metropark. The course is absolutely amazing, incredibly well run event, with meals before & after your rounds, tee times, & tons of extra games & activities.

Mid West Rec Tour 08
30+ sanctioned tournaments in 08. Soon I'll post an updated version with 08 Worlds & maybe US Am Championships, trying to qualify next Thursrday.
