Wow!!! $2000 for a Roc.

If Jesus came down and threw it, I am not paying that much for plastic. That's just ridiculous, right up there with Pokemon cards and Talking Elmos. I wonder if I can sell Tiger Woods' broken glass.…

Since you already use a Xcal, I suggest a Destroyer since it's basically the same disc only slightly less high speed stable which makes for some extra distance in a tailwind or low winds. Also the Firebird is a great addition to any bag for when yo…

Since you are trying out new stuff, try some really good new stuff: Flash, Rogue, Surge SS and Buzzz. They are all made in a candy blend plastic.

Well, I wouldn't have thought just months after borrowing my friend's disc, that I would own 30+ of my own. I have had some hits, some misses, but harder is the inbetweens that I'm just not sure of yet. As I see my distance grow, some discs are maki…

Yea, Watch Dan Beto, it'll help quite a bit, "Working from the Hit Backwards". Also try out Discraft's Driving Clinic, they show 3 individuals that have problems they need to improve and illustrates how to fix those errors. My favorite Video though…

Narrowing Down Molds, or at least trying to

Well, I wouldn't have thought just months after borrowing my friend's disc, that I would own 30+ of my own. I have had some hits, some misses, but harder is the inbetweens that I'm just not sure of yet. As I see my distance grow, some discs are making their way out of my bag, while others have found a home.

Hits out of the box: Beast, XCaliber, Predator, Surge, Banger GT

Complete Fail: Groove, KC Pro Aviar, 11X Champ Aviar, Archangel, Roadrunner

Took some warming up, and multiple chances, now… Continue

Gained 100ft in 3 weeks

About 10 weeks ago, I finally eclipsed the 250ft mark, hitting 275 for first time and then soon after that, it became my average up until 3 weeks ago.

3 weeks ago, I started to reach 300ft about 2 out of 10 throws and about 2 weeks ago started hitting 300 consistently and then began sometimes reaching 320.

On Saturday (2days ago), I felt like I beat that, but wasn't sure because the field I was throwing on had no footage, and yesterday (Sunday), I threw a few feet past that mark, so a lot of m… Continue

Obsessed, should I see a doctor?

Ok, now been playing for 4 months and not a day goes by that I don't either post to this site or think about Disc Golf. My love has always been football, for years and years, still is, but now it will come 2nd if the wife is game to watch the kids and the weather is suitable for playing.

I dream about it, daydream about it, and can't get my hand on that "Next" disc soon enough, because I'm still trying to figure out what discs I like and work best for me. Right now, I have several discs I must… Continue

Its funny that you ask that, I almost exclusivley throw innova champion plastic, but at my home course we have this hole I have aced 5 times with a discraft flick. I CANNOT throw discraft, but I just so happen to have most of them with that one disc, and my first one was with a discraft, so 6 of my 7 aces are with discraft, but honestly, I hate discraft. What about you? How many aces you got? I see that you haven't been playing that long, but some people hit them right away.

Thanks for the invite and the comments! You're the first Texan on here I've seen so far. I'm thankful you posted your top courses, too, as I'd like to try them....ummm, when I get better at it, of course. :)
