DON'T FORGET TO FOLLOW THROUGH......

especially when your putting... it just came 2 me when i was in the back yard putting. most players don't realize the importance of following thru your putt. i didn't until a few minutes ago. i noticed i made more consistantly when i followed thru the putt. my confidence is back in my putting game also i noticed that during my round 2day. i only missed 2 putts...i've started analyzing my game since i made the decision 2 move into the open division. i've learned alot about my weakness's and how 2… Continue

LEAVE IT AT THE HOLE....

this is some of the best advice i can give anyone, pro and amateur alike. after a bad hole most of us get mad or angry, and we take that anger onto the next few holes. this is one of the worst habits u can get into. i strongly suggest "LEAVE IT AT THE HOLE".anger is the enemy on the course it effects judgment and what i think is most important POSITIVE THINKING. so after a bad hole shake it off and leave it there. taking that anger onto the next few holes is VERY counter productive and will kill… Continue

Help out the new guys....

i thought about this when i was on the course 2day... i seen a new player making the same mistake i made early in my playin days.. the ol' under the arm shot. so i asked if i could show him a thing or 2 and he gladly listened and watched as i demonstrated the cross step and pull technique most of us use. all i could think of was "I wish someone woulda helped me a lot sooner than they did." but this guy i'm bad with names and forgot it almost instantly but had only been playing for about a week o… Continue

PRACTICE MAKES ALMOST PERFECT

A lot of us confuse practice, for playing a round of golf.. but the fact is playing a round is no where close 2 actual practice. we limit ourselves 2 the shots we throw everyday.never trying new shots or really paying attention 2 the shot's we make. we all know when we throw the shots we wanted 2, u know, when the disc comes out just right and on that perfect line it just feels right... now on 2 practice get out in an open field and concentrate on the shots you're throwing. paying attention to y… Continue

keep it simple...

one of the biggest mistakes most am golfers make is carrying alot more discs than they need. i was guilty of the same when i was 2 or 3 years in... all it did 4 me was confuse the hell outta me and made me second guess my shot and disc selection... the only time i think it wise 2 carry alot of discs is when traveling 2 unfamiliar courses. and in those situations u usually can see the shot and ALWAYS GO WITH YOUR FIRST INSTINCT!!!!!!!!! and keep it simple ask yourself "do i really need 15 drivers… Continue

Ok. I just got the menu done. I will be cooking BBQ chicken, Fried catfish, BBQ baked beans, flame roasted potatoes, home battered onion rings, seven layer salad.

I will have a basket setup too , so people can throw their discs. The local guys will be stopping by to eat with us and play a few games. Almost like a meet and greet
