Did it again!!

So I threw another 62 at my home course mini this past Saturday. It could have been (should have been) a 61 but I missed an easy putt for par on the 2nd to last hole. I felt like, other than that hole, I putted well. It didn't hurt that I was placing my up shots well and leaving myself relatively easy putts. I'm proud of the way I played and I am realizing that I just need to play within myself and I will score well. Most of all I really had fun.

I DID IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I finally did it!!!!! I finally shot better than a 66 at my home course!!! Today during our weekly mini I shot a 62. Wooohoooo!!! I'm so relieved. It's so nice to break through those plateaus you hit while improving. To make it even better (in my mind anyway) it could have been lower. I missed a couple pretty easy putts that could have made it a 60. But I'm too happy to worry about what could have been. I just really felt like I played well finally.

66 AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!

Shot another 66 in our mini today, arrrrrrrgggggggggg!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Four putts just inches short, 2 or 3 upshots placed farther away than I would have liked creating longer putts than I would have liked. But I'm looking at it from the view that this just means I am due for a breakthrough soon. It's not like I am throwing badly, just that I am off just enough to leave me longer putts than I want. I feel like I am getting close. We'll see how it goes.

So I posted some photos from a round I played today and boy do I look funny in my follow through on my putts. My hands are both up in the air and I look like I am doing some sort of ugly pirouette. I suppose it's not a big deal as long as I am making putts, but my putting percentage is way to low to look like that right now, lol.

66 Grrrrrrrrrrr!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yet another 66 in today's mini. Man I seriously cannot get away from 66!!!!!!!!! Some stupid shot always screws it up. Today it was a short practically gimme putt that I shorted (I wanted to bang my head against the tree behind me). I'm not even trying for a 60 or anything extreme, just a 65 and I'll be happy. I am so sick of 66!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'll give myself a little credit by saying that it was really windy today so to shoot the same as last week when the wind was calm to nonexistent i… Continue
