Ya, this happens. I can definitely see it through the white discs (which is what I dye on most). Not to big a deal I spose unless your trying to dye the bottom something else. I feel like it happens more over time as well, like when the dye starts f…
Good job for your first discs Time! I'd suggest using a ruler or credit card and really go over all your edges before you plop it in the dye, on complicated dyes i might spend quite a while just pressing down the edges to ensure there isn't bleeding…

Hi,
I never had this but on one of my dyed disc, the dye came through the disc : I can see the dye on the bottom (and it is not a translucent disc
Here's my latest! a couple little mistakes, but nothin painfully noticeable.. One of my favs. so far!
... Or the SHOCKER! I'm no star trek geek or whatever, but i'm pretty sure its not that what it is (the ring finger should be extended and spread apart?)

I just got one of these Gateway discs specifically for dyeing! Hopefully i'll get to it this weekend, glad to see the plastic takes dye well. I'm going to dye the bottom and top to go for a sort of layerd/3d effect!
