I usually go nose down and a little hyzer in a headwind. Cause if you go nose up that wind will take it away. Tail wind just aim a little higher. Like everyone else said... practice on windy days. Our local course is known for being windy. Driving t…

The first trick is to leave your couch on windy days and go out and practice and play. You cannot learn tough conditions unless you are in them. Crazy winds are a rare opportunity. It is fine to have preferences for which winds you like best but yo…

I like a tail wind putt better than a head wind. So if it is real windy i will always try to leave a tail wind putt. Try to figure out what you are better at and aim your drive to miss on that side.

Um, practice putt on windy days to prepare for windy day putting. It is not a trick, it is a commitment. Stake that portable basket down...learn the face wind putt, equal amounts of wind on top and bottom of the putter to slice through the air, it c…

If its a tail wind(more than 10mph) i pretty much aim for the number plate, for a head wind I squatt down and bend my knees and get way lower than normal.

Be aggressive with a stable disc like a Champ Spider and add a little extra snap on release.

Wait for a nicer day.

You can't think about the wind. Block it out and putt with a mean streak/confidence. Sean is right too. So practice before you play to get a feel for the wind. One other thing. Not sure if this a "trick" or a trade secret. I played with a pro for on…

Aim low in a head wind, the putter will rise. Aim high in a tail wind as it will make the disc drop.

First off, you NEED more then just one putter. Not only do you need a straight putter, like you have, you also need a putter that will be good in higher winds plus if you have two putters that means you can throw 2 shots every putt which means more…

20-30 degrees is my limit depending on the wind... Played in a tourney Sunday with a high of 34, wasnt all that bad (if you're prepared)

They are Philips I used a Fade Tourney bag and took apart the speakers. I had to unsolder the leads to install it into the bag. The wires run under the insert and took about 45 minutes to do. The portion that took the longest was screwing the speakers back together, getting the hole to line up properly without material in the way.

I wouldn't recommend any of these discs for disc golf, even though they are all approved. Many mid-range and putters perform similarly, but are, but more consistant. These old-school discs are more difficult to control, and don't fit in the bag. I also try to stay away from discontinued discs. The manufactures usually have good reason for getting rid of certain molds.

Threw the Jaguar, Barracuda, Condor and 71C* today. The Jaguar has such a large diameter that it flies and spins slowly. It holds the Hyzer/Anhyzer angles for most of the flight. It is somewhat understable. In one word - sluggish. The Barracuda flies more like the modern drvers, but less predictable, like the Scorpion. The Condor is like a cross between a lid and a disc golf driver. The 71C* is extremely straight, and flies a little longer than typical lid-type discs.

Ahh a fellow Sterling Heights player. Good to see. Seven Star party store on Shelby road & 25 mile has a few hundred discs in stock. Actually quite a nice selection for a party store shelf. Not sure what disc was given away at the Gale Vaughn memorial in 08 but.. Gale was a friend of mine and a great guy. Threw tons of golf with him at Riverbends back in the day. Seeing his name on your post brought back some memories! Welcome.
