John,
Read your comment on the Winter Blues segment by Steve. You mentioned about putting for 30 minutes being a real drag. Maybe you should check out Mark Ellis' putting clinic for some answers.

Thanks for the heads-up! I don't know if it would have been worth it, but if it sucked it'd have ruined my otherwise perfect day. Thanks again.

Tough to say...it switched through most recent photos. So that could depend on when you saw it. It may have been Lake Lewisville, Lewisville TX. Search my photos for that course to verify.

I have heard about Norwalk from some of the guys at Deis of all places and they said that it was a must play course so I will have to make a trip over there. Are you close to this course as if we plan a trip maybe you can hook up with us for a round. What course have you decided to play in Columbus BTW? Take Care SHEP.

Swinney park-
yes, it was confusing, I called the course pro for instructions. After #3 on WEST Swinney, cross OVER the river (the road bridge not foot bridge), stay on same side of road. Then #1's tee is just past the bridge on left for EAST Swinney course. To drive there is hard, it becomes a one way on that side of the bridge. Signage is lacking at East, but you can figure it out. Go around the pond to the right, then straight back and loop left and around the other side of the pond. West has tee signs, easy to follow.

tee signs I can't recall either....I don't think there were any. I live only a couple of minutes from the course, If I have time this week I'll try to stop by and see what the status of the course is. But this is a pretty busy week for me, so we;ll see.

John

Winter play is going pretty well

So I've been playing pretty regularly lately and will soon cut back a little because of the wet ,cold weather .
usually I start to loss distance about this time of the year but I'm actually throwing farther then i was in the summer .
The only downside is my putting has gone to hell because I've been to lazy to take the time to do it .
I'm looking forward to play some ice bowls this year ,which i always do very good in and haven't finished lower than 4th so i think I'm going to do well .
