RFDGC

Colorado State Championships -- Pro's & Ams

Who's going?

I'll be going over Oct 10-12. I think my wife is going with me (but that could change ... silly girl).

Who's psyched?

I'm attaching a rough version of the map I'm working on for the tourney. It's VERY close to what the layout will be for CO States.

Johnny Roberts Memorial, Sept 12-14

Anyone else going. I'm interested in car pooling, and sharing a room. Let me know!

This is one of the best events in Denver IMO.

RFDGC Doubles Match - Wednesdays at 5:30 PM

Be there ... or be talked about!

We've been having really good turnouts for weekly club doubles. Last few weeks we've had nearly 20 people every Wednesday night.

Current ace pool is over $220 (correct me if I'm wrong Jacob). Come on out for a chance to WIN some $$$!

Time update 9/4/2008. Found out last night [the hard way] that doubles is starting at 5:30 PM ( I thought we were changing next week). Barely made it in!

St Louis Open ... not happeing for me

Due to complications at work and the current economic "panic" ... I'm not going to be able to fly out for the St Louis Open this year. Really irritating ... but my common sense has won.

Trips like this are expensive and the additional time away from "work" ... meah. Maybe I'll be self employed by mid-summer. Kinda hoping so.

Sorry I'm going to miss this event ... I was really looking forward to it.

St Louis Open, May 2-3 2009

I'm planning on flying from Aspen to St Louis for the 2009 St Louis Open. Hoping to get 6 days off to visit family and friends in the area. My nephew lives in Brentwood, and if he and his wife are up to it ... I'll be staying there. They live about 15 minutes from tournament central, Endicott Disc Golf Park.

I had a great time playing the four courses last year. Sioux Passage, Creve Coeur Lake, Jefferson Barracks and Endicott, and hopefully, will be a little better prepared for these outstandin… Continue

Um, for some reason I never got your reply to my thread about 10x Rocs on 1/11/08. Believe it or not I still have one left that I would rate around a 9.0/10.0.
You interested?
I also have two San Marino's, one new and one that's practically new but has a scrape just smaller than a dime on the dome. Still flys great though.

Lemme know.

Weekend of May 1st a buddy of mine (Blizzle on DGRUS) is heading to Durango and asked if I know anyone in Colorado, what courses should he play while he's there?

Thanks for the heads-up, but I went out to Hero Discs already and bought some 150 R-Pro Bosses with the Japan Open stamp on them. Here is the link:

You waited too long to signup for Grateful! You should have learned from the way the 1st 2 events of the year filled up. I saw the signups for Colorado Open went up, but unfortunately, that is the weekend Sarah and I are flying back to Badgerland for my dad's 80th birthday. I really enjoyed the course and tournament last year. Oh well, maybe next year.

Won my second Pro Grandmaster tourney and was able to turn down cash again! Peter actually finished in 4th in our division. Gorgeous weather, and I believe I was the only one in the tournament with no OBs. I think thats what won it for me. Just signed up for Grateful in Pro Grand, so hopefully I can win some more money to turn down.

Glad to know you will be at the STL Open again this year. Hopefully we'll get a chance to meet.

Hi John, Sarah tells me she saw you at the Lighthouse a coupla weeks ago. Whats up with that? Most people avoid that course like it was cursed. Me, I kinda like it, since it is the only course that does not require at least a 45 minute drive for me to get to. If only we had some nice tee-pads. But wait, I've heard a rumor that John Bird will be at our tag match tonight to make an announcement about the course. Could it be teepads at last??
Heading Saturday to play St Pattys Meltdown at Edora. Playing Pro Grandmaster there, but will turn down cash in the unlikely event that I win any.
