Almost Back

Well, I almost played like I knew what I was doing this weekend at the Rose City Open. Got lots of birdies the 1st and 3rd rounds, but gave them all back (and then some) with bad play and bad luck. However, my back mostly performed well while wearing my brace and I started getting some of my distance off the tee back.

Unfortunately, playing hurt has had a bit of an impact on my rating, as it plummeted to 965 this past ratings period. :(

Hopefully I will be back in form and cashing again by Aug… Continue

Aces 37 and 38

Well, the last two weeks I've played TuesdayTwos at Orchard Park have been nice to me...

Two weeks ago I got ace #37 on hole 9 (290') with my Glow Champion Firebird.
This week I got #38 on hole 5 (215') with a KC Pro Roc.

Asthma... again?!

Well, after being sick for quite a while, a visited the doctor today to see if there is anything they could do or if it was one of those things I just had to ride out.

It turns out I was having a mid-to-severe asthma attack and that pneumonia is a concern. My doctor said that had I not come in, I probably would have had to visit the hospital due to the severity of my condition. I didn't even know I had asthma! I had it as a kid, but that was so-called "exercise induced" and went away in high sc… Continue

100 discs

When I registered on this site, they asked me how many discs I own. I dunno, I thought. 100? Sounded good enough to me.

Today, being sick and working from home, I naturally decided I should count my discs. Well, I did. It turns out I have 100. Exactly.

I don't know why, but I feel so much better.

First Time Out in a Few Months

Well, I finally picked up a disc after 5 or 6 months. I threw about 20-30 tosses last weekend and then today probably threw 40-50 drives off a tee. It felt good and my back didn't give me too many problems, but I had no idea where any of those discs were going! :-)

Yeah, how many aces do YOU have at Orchard? Besides, if my back doesn't get better soon, it might be quite a while until I get #37... even at Orchard!

Thirty six aces huh??? Doesn't sound like much considering how many times you played Orchard these last few years! lol
