My wife and daughter were in Panama City on vacation at her parent's condo for a week. I got to stay home due to work and lack of free vacation days. While I was home, I decided to surprise my wife with the arbor she had been wanting on the back deck of the house. Due to a sedentary lifestyle, let's say it has been a while since I have considered myself "in shape". I know, round is a shape and that is the shape I am in! I went down on Friday to Huntsville, AL to locate and play a round or two at the Brahan Spring course getting ready for the Rocket City Amateur Open (3rd place in Novice! Yay me!). I found it eventually and started playing the course, which I love by the way! I caught up with a trio on #9, they had just thrown and asked if I wanted to play though or play with. Probably one of the more influential people in my life in a round about way. I have 90% of my friends today from playing this man's game. Without the game he created, my life would have been very different than it is today.
