If she likes the Buzzz it might be wise to get her a slightly lighter stalker and Z glide. Also if she can throw a thumber at all get her a 150 class flick.

You should make that determination by where you are playing. For instance if I was playing in Illinois I would be playing in int because I am borderline rec/int at 898. However here in north carolina I have noticed that 915ish play in adv. where in…

It would have to be HOLE #12 at Lippold Park in Crystal lake, IL the hold is 131 feet the the left of the teepad. No direct type shot. Lots of trees, Only way to get 2 or 3 is with a perfect execution of a roller. Most people I see play this hole g…

I hear what you are saying, I was shooting 890+ just about every round between feb and may at the end of may I played poorly in a tournament and went on a slump of shooting around 840 rounds for awhile. until july when I finally broke it and shot tw…

Reasons I play, #1 Competition/The love of the game, #2. To see how far I have come (During a tournament both skills and mental game are put to the test) #3 Fun! What makes a great tournament: 1. Starting on time every round!!! 2. Score cards with…

A microfiber towel to dry off the disc before putting it back in your bag, A birdie bag to help keep your hands dry. A poncho to put over your bag, pull strap through the head hole and discs stay dry until they are ready to be thrown.

I am now using my crystal challengers all round driving and putting as well as all year because even in the change of weather they rarely change much in consistency grip or flightwise

Gotcha, Not all clubs are like this. The most recent club I was involved with actually played shorts so often that a lot of the true Pro players in the club got fustrated with it. They now have two divisions a "Pros/Adv" division that plays longs an…

if you like the birdie but want something slightly better in the wind check out a magic or voodoo from gateway. I personally use Discraft Challengers because I trust them, have confidence in the flight, and they are comfortable to me. Playing in th…

I agree with Ed, play it where it lies unless it was above 2 meters and determined to be so without question by an official saying it has come to rest before you it falls and rolls.

The point playing from the pro tees is to better yourself so when you play in the tournaments. Generally if you play doubles you have a partner that can help you on the distance end, make sure you can help them by working on your putting and upshots…

Tournaments and closing courses

So this past weekend I played a tournament June 21st. This tournament was sanctioned by the PDGA but due to the city owning the baskets and not the club that hosted the event the course could not be closed. Throughout the tournament there was casuals backing up holes slowing the tournament down. If you left any disc behind they would be taken by the casuals. IMO any course being used for a tournament should be closed to the public. When I am playing in a tournament and have paid cash I should no… Continue

I am down for whatever but the downfall is my lack of transportation. Robert Morris is 3.5 miles from my house, but I was thinking about playing Oshtemo around noon. If I play Oshtemo I have to leave the house at 10 oclock and ride the bus for over an hour to get to that side of town. Ill be awake at 9ish and get online to see whats up witcha

Lawrence,
The first runs were just made. The Ringer was made in D. The Stalker was made in Z. Both feel good. I have only thrown the prototypes. I was playing with Pros yesterday who loved the first run Stalker.

Lawrence,
I have no idea what the production schedule for the Ringer is. If I see them being run I will let you know.

I love lots of courses. Kensington is the course I play the most but it is going through a re-design so we will see how the new version works out.

Leviathon (Ludington), Blue Gill (Wayland) and Flip City (Shelby) are all superb.

Lawrence,
On the 20th I have frisbee friends coming in town from Wisconsin and the odds of us heading to Addison is really slim. Addison was world class at one point but that point was long ago and I'll be taking them to courses I love. Maybe next time. Thanks for the invite.

I was a little late making it out there. I got there about 12:30 and stayed til about two. I didn't get a chance to see Barry or Nikko throw because they were already out in the middle of the course or something. I was pretty dissapointed about that. I did get to watch a few people though.

On another note I got my best score ever at McNaughton the other day, a 59!!!

Yeah I'll more than likely be on the east side of the state and down to throw. Was in Kalamazoo visiting some recent graduates this past weekend and hit up Morris 3 times...apparently left my Destroyer (my MAIN driver, only roll with 5 discs at the moment) on the last hole and I'm pretty bummed. First day I had it, I had an ace run from a 325 foot drive BURY chains and spit out on me! Guess it wasn't meant to be. Been busy with music lately. I need to get a new Destroyer, on the course, and get the game decent again. Keep me posted. Take care.
