It's interesting because 5 years ago you would have gotten a very different answer. I've found that the new plastics in general are more resistant to cold and heat, however, some of the blends will warp. My experience is that affects their flight wa…

One last thought, go look at video of tournament play, especially on upshots; you can look at discgolfmonthly.com. You will see many many upshots come out at all kinds of disc angles, nose up, side down, nose down, etc. None of them come out with OA…

OAT, I like that. Go read disc nut's post, he hits the nail on the head in one sentence. There is very strong evidence that the primary cause of OAT is insufficient spin to match the forward velocity of the disc. Think about your disc as a flying w…

I would have to agree Robey, but your theory is interesting. I use all sorts of discs and do just fine, but that doesn't mean what you're saying may not work for others.

Good in theory, but dont know how well it would really work out. i dont see that much of a loss in control in switching discs with diff width rims, in all actuality i would think rim depth would play a bigger factor.

If you've never perused the Scott Stokley books/videos, you should. His knowledge is on par with many of the best commentators, Dave Dunipace, Mark Ellis and others. In his videos he comments on the fact that you might have a number of discs of vari…

Lyle, great points made on FDM... It is nice to see you are here at DGRU too. I'm going to send you a friend request. I know we don't always see eye to eye on every issue, but I have always respected you, your input and enjoyed our banter back and forth from time to time. There is always a better mouse trap, is there not?

Thanks for the great input into the snap discussion, I kept reading Dave's Secrets over and over and really not getting it. I wish I had a couple more hours of sunlight to try it but I'll be whipping a towel around the house tonite.

Auden has an eye for rare discs too I see!
