I picked up an Apache during the summer. It flew real well for me and the glide was great (I need good glide). So it was my go to disc for a time. Then I found the Discraft Surge.
On the hole you were video'd I now use an Innova…"
Very nice tee shot. What disc did you use?
Being left handed...I am likely to come from around the left of the pine trees. But seeings how I recently am recently getting to know an old favorite...The Skeeter...I will try your angle.
Marites! Just wanted to say hi and I hope all is well! I miss ya! I want to have a meeting/get together within the next month or so.... do weekends work good for you? Hopefully you have played more golf then I this winter.... i think I have played once in the last 3 months :( Can't wait for springtime!!
On behalf of Juliana Korver, I am happy to announce the 2010 La Vie en Rose, a women-only PDGA event and Southern Nationals qualifier that will take place February 13-14, 2010 at the Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park in Live Oak, FL. As you may know, last year the inaugural event hosted 67 female disc golfers. This year our tournament field will be limited to 84 competitors and we hope to sell out.
In order to make the 2010 event even better for the women, we are reaching out to all those in the disc golf community that are interested in helping to raise the bar for our sport. Whether it’s a title sponsorship, a CTP donation, help with course preparation, helping to spread the excitement, or actually competing in the event, we certainly hope to be blessed with your participation.
Well...Irving Park is a great course to learn on. Plus it's brand new and if you continue your disc golf adventure...you probably will see many changes occur there.
Me?....I'm probably the oldest disc golfer in the B.C. area and... you mentioned the word "characters"? Well... I'm definitly one of those. I just started playing alittle over two years ago. Welcome to the world of disc golf.
