glad to be able to have and support more women's divisions. We had a total of 16 women participate. Great to see those numbers.

Just a few spots left for the Orlando Open this weekend. Cash only registration at this point. Friday at 3:30 pm is deadline at the park, right before doubles with $100 added cash starts.

11th Annual Orlando Open at Bill Frederick Park at Turkey Lake, Orlando Florida USA

October 22, 2011 to October 23, 2011

Premier event on the Florida Fabulous Tour at Bill Frederick Park at Turkey Lake in Orlando, Florida. Park has two 18-hole courses allowing a max field of 180 players. Event fills, so register early. Lunch provided both days. Purse money added. In 2010, thirteen different divisions participated. How many Aces have you thrown?: 5 or 6 - last one at I.G. Levy Park in Pascagoula MS on hole 18 over the lake.

What is your "home" course?: Bill Frederick Park at Turkey Lake

What are your Top Five courses?: not including home course and in no order:
1) Bluemont Park in Arlington VA, only a 9 hole but 3 sets of pads makes a real 27.
2) Seneca Oaks Park, Gaithersburg MD, good terrain and need multiple shots.
3) The Gran Canyon, Brooksville FL - may she rest in peace
4) Pease Park, Austin TX - cut my teeth on this course
5) The next course I play

How many discs do you own?: 300

The Daytona Crew is entertaining the idea of a Turkey Lake Cabin Overnight outing.

Sat. Turkey Lake handicaps, some more golf, some grillin, some poker, some night golf, etc etc. Maybe hit Barnett HCPS on Sun. Morning.

Do we need permission to play the courses at night from anybody? or just head out and enjoy?

Any tips, do's or don'ts would be appreciated.
