I live about an hour south of you in Brighton. I have lots of discs, new and used, which I could part with for very reasonable rates. A few bags, too. You can also test throw the discs before deciding what you want.
Probably Flint is the closest club to you. There is a tournament at the Flint course this weekend (saturday?) where you could meet the group. I might make it up for the tourney but not for sure, yet.
