"Hello Paul !!!!
Wishing you Lots of Birdies and Hole-In-Ones !!!!!!!
Hope this message finds you well and your enjoying the 2009 Season !!!
Welcome to this Cool Website for Disc Golfers from All over the World !!!!
I don't know about pouring concrete in below 32 i will be looking into that tomorrow with the contractor. but the bigger problem is finding the markings on the ground for the tees, signs, baskets if moved removed or covered in snow.
Could delay the project by a week or 2. but we will be in and playable soon. no fees unless the property has problems with vandals or other illegal activities. So anybody who plays the park had better behave themselves or P2P will appear at this course as well.
Paul i have to guess what the summer course is, Indy lake permanent course? We at A3 are only involved in that project monetarily. 101 is handling all of that project.
Rolling hills (Steve Wyatt) really wants a 2nd course but when the long term park plan was made only an additional 20 acres was planned not enough as it is to open for a 2nd course. Steve is pushing for a change to the plan, he knows disc golfers come in droves to play his park a 2nd course would bring in even more traffic and events.
Worst case scenario would result in a 27 hole course being done with longer holes on some of the existing holes. Originally the plan was for this course this year, but i think the discussions for changing it and indy lake going in will slow the project down.
Lakeshore will be a 24 hole course and playable in probably 2 weeks from friday. concrete pouring starts tuesday.
The other new course A3 is working on will be in Milan but that may be years down the road as we have to raise enough money for 24+ more baskets for the 2nd course at lakeshore.
Paul have you heard about the new disc golf courses going in the area.
Independence Lake which is near hudson mills.
And closer and free will be the new courses going in Ypsilanti, at the Lakeshore Apartment complex?
