He told me personally that he hurt his elbow kayaking for six hours and just wouldn't be competitive. He also told me I wouldn't DFL. That was my inspiration for placing 68th of 71.

You should be able to get to that 300 ft. mark....Just a suggestion: try taking only one step, leaning back and torquing off your heel. I know an average older gentleman who get's great distance that way(I do to!)
