Sorry to hear about the hip...just roaming the site and saw your comment....I'm 28 and recently hurt my hip playing in an ironman tourney(4 rounds at 4 parks in one day in Comumbia, SC) The last round I tweaked my hip and it's still giving me trouble. You should be able to get to that 300 ft. mark....Just a suggestion: try taking only one step, leaning back and torquing off your heel. I know an average older gentleman who get's great distance that way(I do to!)
