I have decided to go with Lighting DB-5 baskets I now have 1 on the course and have ordered my 2nd. I now have 6 of my 9 holes laid out, they are so arranged that I can play them from both directions. I have the other three very roughly laid out. No tees yet, but hope to start on them next week. I am using tone targets for now. Hopefully baskets soon; hole 1- 280 feet, 2-195 feet 3-308 feet, 4-275 feet, 5-300 feet, 6-260 feet, 7-200 feet, 8-260 feet, 9-350 feet all are heavily wooded and narrow fairways 8-15 feet wide. I also have 4 alternate holes.
5-21-2010 My second basket arrived today and it has found a home on the 4th hole. Holes 5 and 6 will be playable in a few days if I can get a little time away from work. I now have 4 baskets and 3 tone targets. Hope to pick up another basket before the end of the summer. I may try my hand at making one, went and looked at the ones Sugaree has. I have been working on Tees here lately I have 7 in and are now working on 2 more hauling sand to build up and level the ground. and rocks to use as borders. 3-1-11 tomorrow my 8th basket should arrive I now have 19 tees installed and am working on #20 I hope to place multiple tees each way giving me 36 different looks
