Four numbing shots intothe palm, a tetanus in the arm and a booster in the butt = six needles. Yowch! The infection and swelling are down considerably.

I played RH again Sunday with the Brown Park Irregulars (26 holes) and managed to get a hawthorn thorn stuck in my right palm so deep it disappeared. My hand's swelling up like a rubber glove on Howie Mandel's head.

The thorn's still in there. Good thing it's in my right hand.
