Hey good job man. Depending on the course a 59 is pretty darn good. I know my home course is pretty hard because you rarely see anyone shoot under 56 and the course record is only 51 set by Barry Shultz. My best score there is also a 59 so I can s...
So I shot a 59 at Shawnee tonight (+5). Not a real impressive score but considering my course low is 61 and I shot a 75 at the LSDiscs open, it's a definite improvement. I'm driving longer, shooting better midrange, and hitting putts. I have a fee...

Welcome to "DGRUS" - which is what we use as shorthand for www.DiscGolfersR.us. This network is operated by my wife, Sheila Calhoun, and myself. Please don't hesitate to ever provide feedback, and especially let us know of operational problems or of people violating our guidelines, the most important of which is, "Behave as though everyone in here is your friend!"
Among other reasons, we created DGRUS to provide disc golfers with a place on the Web where "On the Internet" does NOT mean "In your face." Please check out the full set of guidelines if you have any questions about that: http://tinyurl.com/DGRUS-guidelines.
The network's value is increased with each new member, especially when they share. So please use the "Invite" feature - http://tinyurl.com/DGRUS-invites - to urge your disc golf buddies to also join.
We'd like everyone who visits - more than 30,000 people a month - to join, but nearly everything is viewable even to those just browsing through. There are various ways for you to control who can or cannot see things that you post, and there are also various ways for you to control the email messages you get (or don't) telling you about things happening in the network. Please do share photos and videos, and join in forum discussions. There are nearly 700 clubs in here and you can start your own public or private one. We love it when members share posts in their blogs. As well, you can use the DGRUS Remarkd Flymart to either sell or buy disc golf stuff.
Never hesitate to contact us. You can use the internal messaging system, the "Report an Issue" button at the bottom of each page, or email us direct at terry.pirate.calhoun@gmail.com and sheila.m.calhoun@gmail.com. If you feel the need, you can even call me at (734) 355-0431.
Finally, please support our supporters, whose advertising you can see on every page. We started this totally as a fun project, but it grew so fast that we could not maintain it without their support.
Thanks for joining us. We truly hope you that this network magnifies the fun you get from disc golf.

I'm driving longer, shooting better midrange, and hitting putts. I have a feeling more birdies are on the way. Can't wait for the Sunflower games!
