When did you discover and begin playing this best of all sports?

I had been curious about disc golf for a long time but never really started playing until a course was built in the city that I live in 2000. I have played many different sports such as rugby or beach volleyball but disc golf is unique in the fact that it can be enjoyed both playing alone or with others.
