- I agree and must admit that it took awhile for that slick feeling to go away. Once my thumb wore a circle around the disc and the slickness wore off it became $$$! You can still join ya' know...just based on their cool looks. I hope to make KC. I was caught in a massive layoff in late '08 after 10 years w/ Xerox and subsequently changed careers. Just depends on how well this "change" is going by then. :-)

- Havent heard anything new on Brooksville. I am actually up in Decatur TN now (since last November). Spent a week down in FL last month and played the Suwannee and Melbourne tournaments. Heading to Bowling Green next week! Woohoo!

FREEDOM!!!
They gave it to me! (driver's license) I'm free to come to a course near you. I almost feel like a human being again. I've pre-reg'd for the first tournament I will be driving to and playing in, EVER...Bowling Green. It's the site of my first ever PDGA cash in a tourney in 2002. Quite fitting that it is also the site of my return, don't you think?

2008-9 Winter Update
It's a long, cold winter in the Great Lakes area, but I think I'll come out of it better than ever.
After eight long years, I should finally get my driver's liscence back in a month or so. DON'T ASK! It's just too long a story.
ANYHEW, I've known this day was coming for a while so to get ready I have been conditioning, conditioning, conditioning. Lifting weights and running, a little putting in the basement as well since my hands go numb in about a minute outside. I've actually lost 15 lbs! For… Continue

About my picture
This picture was taken the first time I went and played the Cross Canyon Challenge in Brooksville, FL. This event was played on the "currently defunct" Gran Canyon course, the BEST that I have ever played. The course is built into an old quarry, old enough that plenty of vegetation has grown in. As a result of being in a quarry, there are 100' cliff drops, crazy dog-legs and holes that you couldn't dream up even if you had a ton of dirt and eartthmoving capabilities.
