To whom it may concern,
After several months of trying, my brother Jerry still cannot get onto the Daytona Disc Drivers Club online. (his DGrus ID is: Jerry Grim)
He joined at Discgolfersrus, and navigated to the Daytona Disc Drivers Club page where there is the green grass border with a big blank white space. Above it, it says "click here to join" but clicking does nothing. nothing happens. There is still only a blank white page in the area where anything should show up, (including the typical side bar menues & info, surrounded by the standard green grass border. That is, the basic border, just as on this very page, there is a brown border with the header showingmain content shows, & no side bar info either)
I have tried inviting him to join, and so has Jamie. He can get the invites, and accept them, but the invitations do not help the problem the page still does not work where it says "Click here to join". There is a bug in the program that does not let the forums or any info show up on the page, other than the standard page border.
He has tried this on different computers, and even I tried making a new ID and joining the daytona page myself. I run into the same problem. I encourage anyone and everyone else to try a new ID and signing up to join the Daytona Disc Drivers Club online. It simply is not working.
Please fix it. Because I have to wonder if not just Jerry, but all new people trying to join the Daytona Club online are have the same problem. As it is, Jerry (& my guess is any other noobs) cannot see any posts about anything.
Thank you,
Rich (sandude) Varano

Bruce Brakel said… Terry, has there been a rated tournament at the Ponds on 1-18 and A-F long tees? I'm trying to see how my round today would rate.
The Miniac said… Hola Terrence!
A few months ago, I asked if DGR's.Us had the capability to display club and personal messages within an email so that we didn't have to directly log on to read them. I understand that this may have an effect on the # of hits the site gets and I understand if that is a contributing factor.
We've started a dg club in DeBary, (plus I subscribe to several others) the traffic is getting prolific.. almost too much. It is one thing to wait for the site to load and reposition to where the message is, but sometimes several messages take me to the same place, which makes me wonder if I'm reading the right ones.
Other than that. You've created quite an online community. Congrats!
AAAAAANNNND... thanks for continuing to list the Gran Canyon as your favorite course. Sure do miss it.
Bruce Brakel said… Thank you for having served. Remember those who didn't come home.
Rescue said… Hey Terry,
I had a question for you. I wanted to kind of "pay it forward". Over the years I've amassed several bags and I was wondering if it was OK and if there was also a way to raffle off one of my bags that I no longer use on your site.
I'm not doing it for money and I'd even pay for shipping. I just thought in these times it would be kind of a cool thing to do and help out a fellow disc golfer. I don't know if it can be done? but I tought I'd run it by you.
Thanks and take care.
