Okay, I guess hole 17 at Grignon Park in Kaukauna, WI is a legitimate par 4 and I DO enjoy that hole a good deal. On our home course in Fond du Lac, WI, hole 17 is a signature. It is a 425 ft par 3 that has a raised fairway that snakes right then ...

Any Par 4 or 5 holes that legitimately require more than one drive. I think I would really love a par 5 that was mostly open on the tee shot so you can blast for distance, then requires a good placement 2nd shot to perhaps a dogleg to the pin. Sor...

I might have to go with Hole number 3 (Heartbreak Hill) at Cass Benton Hills in Northville, MI. This hole is on the top of a sledding hill and plays downhill 740 feet. Great views.

Dealing with other players temper tantrums

I have a good friend i play with alot that has a really bad temper .he has only been playing a short time and has gotten really good but playing with him at times really sucks he kicks his bag ,drops the f bomb really loud and generally gets pissy when he manages to hit a tree in a fricking forest.I have spoken to him a few times about it ,but old and bad habits die hard.i played a round with him in a tourney with him a few weeks back and have been to funner funerals.i hate seeing people go tilt… Continue

How to get a tourney frame of mind

I find my self not playing well in tourneys, everyone that plays with me scratch their heads when they see me play in tourneys. I give my opponents 3 or 4 strokes on me so then i step in to my tourney quicksand (thats where you try harder and all you do is sink deeper)any advice on tourney prep (mental or physical )that has helped anyone here .it's frustrating to beat people during leagues or pickup games. then have my ass handed to me in tourneys if i could figure it out i could be a real threat… Continue

FINDING DISCS IN THE SNOW (NEW METHOD)

Well I mentioned in chat how i find discs in the snow here in Alaska. The first is simple, spotters and finding cut marks.i like to play golf with my dog stella and noticed that as we walked down the fairway she would walk by the discs buried in the snow ,some times right over the cut mark .I decided to use that great dog nose and the love of bacon to my benefit ,so now we carry a small baggy of bacon grease(solidified of course) and rub a small smear on the bottom center mold mark .then as you w… Continue

Thanks for the add! Hows the weather in alaska? I lived in Houghton,MI for a year (almost the northern most point in MI) and id have to say...300+ inches of snow and constant below 0 wind chills can get pretty chilly! Got enough courses around there?

Call Lorentzen, he has a job offer for you. Greg called me and said nobody has seen you in awhile. He called me to let you know about the job.

I'd love to see how your dyes turn out. I'm a big fan of seeing original artwork dyed. If you have any questions, I'll answer as best I can. I'm not one of those who keep my technique a secret. yes, i have vinyl cutter. no, I don't do clip-art.
