Start out buying midrange discs, they go straighter than drivers and are easier to throw.

TheZman replied to Rescue's discussion 'WHY?'
They want you to buy more discs! Innova has I beleive over 50 different models. Most of use could play with 5 or 6 different discs, IMO.That's not counting if you have to have 2 or 3 of this driver , or midrange, or fairway's, or putter's/approach,...

Toccoa is one of the nicest courses in the area, very challenging. Also played Cliff Stevens in Clearwater afer taking a day trip from vacation in St Augustine in july, to get to the Clearwater disc store, Man I need to go back there, it is awesome, I could not take it all in a day.

BTW I played Toccoa...I enjoyed the course, it had some really cool holes. We did some camping up there...that was the closest course.

We've always had a couple here and there...they're generally harmless. Florida, Daytona particularly, is a transient destination...warm weather etc. The big problem there isn't enough assistance for them...we're talking thousands of homeless walking our streets. and resources for just a few. Over the past year...since the police dept moved from across the street...we've had a bigger influx of these people...They are getting out of hand at this point. Many homeless camps in our woods.

Myself and a few others have been trying to get the police to do something....but it isn't a priority to the cops.

Tuscawilla has had a bad reputation for many years in our community..even after we've been there almost 17 years. Other then the Disc golfers...there isn't a lot of other legal park activities going on there. Families avoid the place..the playground is barley used...the older veteran cops refer to the place as "touch-a-willy"...due to the activity that was once completely out of control out there....we generally stopped that shit since we've been there.
Another problem...more of a conundrum...is some of our guys who drink...will pee anywhere they want too....so it's hard to complain about something that the homeless are doing that some of your own are doing too. Actually it really sucks.

Zman,
I tried all the stickum products on the market a few years back and liked Pow'rTac best. I googled Pow'rTac and found a bunch of places to buy it online, with the best price of $5.95 per can. A can would last the average golfer a few years. I test lots of discs so I go through it much faster.

If you want to remove it (dirt builds up on it eventually) you can easily take it off with a product called Goof Off, which you can find in hardware stores.

So far there hasn't been much interest from the the professional disc golfers to have a commission oil painting done of them.

Thanks for the nice comment. Being a senior senior, I enjoy doing oil paintings but sometimes getting sales is a little hard but I keep trying.

Zman,
It sounds like a great idea. You have my vote (unfortunately my vote counts for nothing). Try selling it to Brian Sullivan at Discraft. He might go for it.
