I really don't know much about straps. I have heard a lot of good things about the Quad Shocks ( I have not used these). The only straps I have used thus far (3 years now) are a pair of straps that I cut off an old ball golf bag that I had for about 7 or 8 years before this. So they have been through a lot and still look great and work very well. The Gel straps I have heard mix reviews on. I have heard and seen them fail on people a few times. I hope this helps some and sorry I don't really have any personal experience with different straps.
