The Homegrown Hops Saga

The Saga Continues.... (Road Trip to AZ Day 2)
It was another interesting continuation of the road trip. We ended up playing a round with Sheila at Roosevelt Park, had lunch at Kelly's brew pub, and the continued the drive to Scottsdale.
We made it through the mountains without incident in the dark. The GPS said we hit 7500 in elevation. Woo Hoo!

The RoadTrip to AZ
Mark Ellis had to deliver a car out west, he asked if I wanted to tag along and we could play Frisbee on the way.... Sounded good to me...
Well... 23 hours and 37 minutes later, I'm not so sure. We drove from Brighton, MI to Albuquerque NM with only 1 hour and 30 minutes CUMULATIVE stop time.....This includes our 1 run in with Johnny Law (just a warning), an out of order EXACT CHANGE only Toll Booth in OK (they may still be looking for us), food and fuel stops.

Ok. So I have a biased judging station, however.....
I have a '3 hearted ale' on tap right now, that while "malty", still tastes pretty good. I know Ellis won't like it, but whatever.
However....I *do* have a 'hop slap' beer that I brewed from my own recipe that got the 'double thumbs up' as 'my new favorite beer' (these are actual quotes from people, I'm not making them up). The 'hop slap' is "continually hopped from 60 minutes, 20 min, 5 min, 2 min, 0 min of… Continue
