Trophy Only?

I have done it, it was quite a bit cheaper, don't remember the actual costs. An excellent way to step up a division without risking too much capital or to play in a tournament when cash is tight.

I fly several times each year. I always pack my discs in checked baggage. I also always get a little slip of paper in that bag saying that TSA inspected that bag. It is pretty safe to say, if you fly with discs, security will want to inspect.

Windy Sterling replied to Jeff Vest's discussion 'Womens Discs'
Disc manufacturers design discs for men. Rightly so, since disc golf appears to be a male-dominated sport. Just an observation. Since women are generally smaller, I feel that we should throw small diameter discs, with rims that are not too wide,…

Hawaii, it really is a paradise. It would be nice if they could get more permanent courses with baskets there.

Greetings from www.waydowndisc.com in sunny Florida!

On behalf of Juliana Korver, I am happy to announce the 2010 La Vie en Rose, a women-only PDGA event and Southern Nationals qualifier that will take place February 13-14, 2010 at the Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park in Live Oak, FL. As you may know, last year the inaugural event hosted 67 female disc golfers. This year our tournament field will be limited to 84 competitors and we hope to sell out.

Registration is now open and instructions can be found on the official tournament website:
http://julianakorver.net/rose/

In order to make the 2010 event even better for the women, we are reaching out to all those in the disc golf community that are interested in helping to raise the bar for our sport. Whether it’s a title sponsorship, a CTP donation, help with course preparation, helping to spread the excitement, or actually competing in the event, we certainly hope to be blessed with your participation.

For sponsorship opportunities, please visit: http://julianakorver.net/rose/La_Vie_en_Rose.pdf
or contact the Tournament Director, Shawn Sinclair at:
shawn@peytondesigns.com

To keep current on course work days, please visit:
http://www.waydowndisc.com/
or contact me directly at:
mritner@knights.ucf.edu
or (727) 512-9696

Thank you for your attention. We’re hoping that in some way, whether big or small, you’ll be able to share a bit of your passion for the sport of disc golf with the ladies.

Yours in flight,
Mark “Denny” Ritner
