Was a fun year, except for that second round at Grateful Disc...oh well.
DG Vagabond...I'm jealous. Some of the most fun experiances of my career where on the "vagabond tour" back in '95 and '96. I strongly recommend following the NT / A tour starting in early June through the Worlds. With maybe a little break right before Worlds to chill in CO and then ride out with some homies. Looking at the schedule, there's some great events in reasonable geographic order for you to hit. Whatever you do, you're gonna have a blast. It's nice to have a little money in the bank, so your not super stressed at each tourny, but sometimes people play better when there's additional pressure. I know I play better when the money is secondary to the level of play. Just something to think about. Of couse, the sooner you can get registered and the entry fee out of the way, the easier it'll be once you get out there. I'm sure I'll see you early next season, and I'm happy to try and answer any questions you may have about doing the travelling thing.
Have a great holiday season... Come on big snow!
Cheers
Good season this year! I'm always psyched to see players stepping up their game in the Colorado area, and you're certainly one of the "players to watch". Looking forward to playing with you more in 2009. Looks like you've got an impressive schedule! Keep up the hard work and let's make a statement in KC!
Yes, that was a shame that we didn't hung out. Oh well, if you ever come this way again, you have a place to stay.
Atleast you played some dg over here. I really sucked at that tournament(my worst finish ever in 23 years) but my health was playing a big role in that....I was soo tired after the first round mainly because the ground was so wet. I had a hard time walking in it(I am recovering from tromboses legs/ bloodclot/ and lungembolics/ i had dried blood in my lungs),just recently it is gone. But my condition is still kinda weak. I did play somewhat better in our last tourney.Had one bad round and got beat by 20 players but my other rounds were good and I beat 13 players...got 6th. So slowly I am getting better again...;-]
