Ive got a wedding on the 7th but would love to bust my cherry on the X on the 8th or 9th...
I responded to your post on hwdgc site too- I was hoping the DG scene would be boomin by the time I move back there in fall of 09 but looks like there may still be some work to do developing a local culture, which of course Ill be happy to help with somehow
In 1983 Turkey Creek was the only IC course and only nine holes, Although we made up our own course at City park which we played heaps. My first ace was in '82 or '83 on hole one at Turkey Creek early March my very first throw of the season. The next ace took many years.....
I'm an old IowaCity transplant to Wisconsin. I'm trying to get a hold of Bryan Van Horne, moved to MT from WI. I think he might be in Missoula?. Anyway if you happen to know him, tell him he should come back for Standing Rocks Open, it's year ten and we're having lots of micro brew. he won advanced one year with 75 players in the field.
cheers
Liked your idea of generating some poll questions about league play this year. Although I'm partial to the way we have been working it, I'm going to think about your (and any other's) options.. more later.
