Two 9-Hole Course Giveaway & Worlds Fundraiser
Presented to the 2009 PDGA Pro/Am World Championships

DGA is excited to announce the return of our highly successful fundraiser disc and disc golf
course giveaway program that has been offered to the 2009 Pro/Am World Championships being held in Kansas City, Missouri. This is the third year this program has been offered to the PDGA Worlds and has proven to be a very successful fundraiser for the Championships.

This year’s fundraising disc will be our brand new midrange disc, the Aftershock. This midrange is a controllable, stable disc with great glide that will surely find its way into many golfers’ bags. DGA is excited to be offering this new disc in our Limited Edition Sparkle plastic blend for this fundraiser. Once again, DGA has created a very unique and stylish piece of color artwork for this disc that will surely increase the collector value.

A total of 1500 of these special run discs will be produced. Like years past, each disc purchased will come with one raffle ticket. Each raffle ticket will be added to a drawing that will take place during the week of the Pro/Am Worlds in Kansas City (July 27th-August 1st, 2009). There will be two winners of this drawing and those winners will each receive a 9 hole custom Mach III course.

The winner will have their very own course to do with as they wish. This is a great opportunity for individuals as well as clubs across the country to get a chance at winning the course you’ve always wanted without having to come up with the funds to purchase a whole course. You can install your own private course and keep it to yourself or you can donate the full course to a park department and be a hero in your local disc golf community.

This year’s prized Mach III Deluxe Disc Pole Holes will be powder coated in a limited edition color (yet to be determined). DGA rarely powder coats the Mach III Pole Holes, making the courses truly unique. We feel that because of this fact, the limited fundraiser discs will be sold very quickly. We expect disc golf clubs will pool their resources to purchase as many of these discs as possible in order to increase their chances of winning.

The discs will be sold through four exclusive partners. Disc Golf World (www.discgolfworld.com), Disc Nation (www.discnation.com), Gotta Go Gotta Throw (www.gottagogottathrow.com), and Sun King Discs (www.sunkingdiscs.com) have joined forces with 2009 Worlds and DGA to promote and sell these discs. We will begin selling in early March and continue up until the week of Worlds or until all have been sold. We will also make a limited number of these discs available to authorized tournaments that work closely with DGA.
