Concussion from Disc Golf? Yep.

Got my first semi-major disc golf injury Saturday! I claimed a concussion. 'Twas rather icy for league at Kaposia. Scratch that. It wasn't rather icy. It WAS an ice rink. Kaposia is rather hilly also. As you can only guess, it made for a ton of slipping and sliding. I should have been smart and not played. I went down on our first hole, hole two. It was a hard fall, but just landed on my butt. It didn't feel good since I have broken my tailbone before.

Wanting to start a women's league/ women's play days or something of the like

SO I need to run to school and work and such for the day, but wanted to put this post out there quick. I will add to it tonight or tomorrrow, so check back then.

I have been toying with the idea of running a women's league or play day for a long time. I want to start it up this spring say- April or May- as soon as I am done with my internship. Brett Hansen Begg UPDATE!

For any of those not up on the latest happenings of Brett (16 year old son of Long Tee owner Alan Hansen Begg), he moved home for good January 2nd, and today was his first day back at school! According to his mom, it went fantastically. Alan and Greta the Great are such troopers that they took Brett out to Kaposia in South Saint Paul one day so that he could get a few holes in and see friends. Goals Update

Putt, putt, putt! I wanna be making everything inside 30ft by the end of the year. I need to practice putting a lot.

830 player rating

Increase distance and accuracy- throwin 350 at least! Right now I'm at about 300.

MENTAL GAME needs a lot of work- I don't even know how to phrase it as a goal!

EASTSIDE

For all you non-Minnesotans, we have a statewide Match Play team event every October. It is called the Mider Cup. To participate, you must be an active member of the Minnesota Frisbee Association. The state is split into four zones- N, S, E, W. E and W are all of the Twin Cities Metro- the split is 35W. N and S is everything else. Anyways, this event brings upon much team unity.
