I could do a silhouette of Walter Payton running with the ball from that picture, but leave his number visible. I could do it like the major league sports logos where the player splits the field and opposite sides of the field are contrasting colors, using the Bears' colors.
You got that right, Norris IS the MAN! It's a custom dye job. I don't know who did this one, but I know someone who could duplicate (or change) the design if you were interested.
1. Got to www.basechurch.com
2. Click on "Giving" and then click on "Donate On-line Here."
3. For the drop down box, choose "Rise and Build."
4. Then just do the paypal thing.
5. This is important. E-mail me or IM me that you sent Base Church the money and I'll check with Lyall. rollerdoos "at" aol "dot" com.
I'm going to dye the Bear tonight. It will sit on the dye shelf for a couple of days to soak up the dye and will go out as soon as Base Church get the money.
Don't worry about how this works for me. Lyall never does! :-)
If you still want that Destroyer Bear, you're up. It will be $18 plus postage. Let me know if you have a weight preference because I have a good selection of Destroyers right now. Let me know if you want paypal instructions or a snail mail address to send a check to. I'll go to work on the Bear as soon as you specify a weight preference or say no preference.
Can I make that Bear in a Star Destroyer you ask? Absolutely. Usually I do it Blue dye on orange plastic and the blue+orange turns out a navy blue-purple color that looks like Chicago Bears colors. But I could do some other color combination. $20 includes postage.
Did you get your Bears disc? I do that dye a lot for players in Chicago. If you go to my glowfoto site at http://www.glowfoto.com/users3/bruce_brakel/ there is a collection of Bears discs in the December album.
Some of my other good ones are the Chief in the March 2008 album and Darth Vader.
