how far is midrange?

I use a mid for most shots between 200 and 300 ft. I find that using a midrange gives me the proper distance and better accuracy when compared to powering-down on a driver.

2008 Year In Review

The Hampton Showdown was my first tournament of the year. It was held on May 17 at the Hampton Rotary 4-Way Test DGC in Hampton, Iowa. Ten players showed up to play in this small, unsanctioned tournament that I ran. I shot even par the first round and a three under the second round. My 51 (-3) was good enough for a three-way tie for 2nd place in Advanced. Overall it was a great day and I feel I played pretty well.

The ace race disc was a Avair/Wizard mix made by Discraft. I did not like throwing it. I don't particuarly like putters with the ring on the bottom lip.

Sounds like a wise investement. Yeah I am gonna give Ankeny a try. Plus I like the tournaments that give you a disc for playing.

Hey Rob
I just wanted to say thanks for playing at palooza. It was great having you there and having you take the ace fund. Hope you can make it next year.
