Greer - No Work Today

Cis and i went to Greer this afternoon. I intended to do some clean up and play a round when I finished. I took a wheelbarrow and garden rake to clean up debris and smooth out messes. But once I got there the course has been pretty much cleaned up. The huge mulch pile on the first fairway has been moved to around the 7th basket to give it a banked landing area. First time TD expirience and more....

Its been a minute since I have posted... mainly because I have been working on directing my first event which is scheduled for February 7th. Its so much work, I had no idea. But I am proud of the work I am doing and I believe I have done a really good job. i thought about this when i was on the course 2day... i seen a new player making the same mistake i made early in my playin days.. the ol' under the arm shot. so i asked if i could show him a thing or 2 and he gladly listened and watched as i demonstrated the cross step and pull technique most of us use. all i could think of was "I wish someone woulda helped me a lot sooner than they did." but this guy i'm bad with names and forgot it almost instantly but had only been playing for about a week… Continue

PRACTICE MAKES ALMOST PERFECT

i heard this site was ok. i tried it a long time ago and let it go, but it looks like its changed a bit. we'll see how it goes... i am wondering how much actual discussion is encouraged. we definitely need somewhere new to discuss - not just events and discs, but the business and politics of disc golf also.
