The change of the Japanese fiscal year is April.
The school is a start of the school years when April is new.
April is the time to enter the company.
It is the time when a cherry tree blooms in a neighborhood of Tokyo.
However, I heard that September was the start of the school year when the United States of America was new. Because the time was different, the foreign student who came to Japan heard the story that had a hard time.
Are the openings of the fiscal year… Continue

Let's cut to the chase, I took about 3 months off from the game (never doing that again), time constraints, the holidays, etc. Started back playing this weekend with my cousin Ken up from B'ham. Putting was terrible, I guess that is to be expected. Anyway, I played in my clubs Ice Bowl yesterday and had the worst round I have ever played on the course (with the exception of my first round). 8 over par. Fast forward...I went to the same course this morning and shot 6 under...what? A 14 stroke… Continue

Seems like after about a month of play I have hit a wall, I have read that this happens but I guess that this is the first time that I have ever noticed it in the time I have been playing. The more that I read about this happening the more that I have come to the conclusion that the only way to get through this is just keep playing. I am expecting that after what ever length of time that it takes to get past this "slump" I will make a step to being a better player with more control and better… Continue

First new course of 2009 and post- 2008 tour!
I went out and played the new Waterloo State Rec. Area
course in Grass Lake, MI
today because it's about freezing, almost no snow to be found, and without any wind- best chance you will get here this time of year.
It's 27 miles from my door to the parking lot, a dozen more than Hudson Mills but only a few extra minutes because 2/3 of the way is by I-94.
Cost of parking was 6$ or 24$ yearly so I just got the… Continue

My first round of 2009 was at Hunter Park, Tulsa. I shot 4 down! My best finish on any course ever! Before today I was averaging 3 or 4 over.
Here's hoping the great end of 2008 and the great start to 2009 continues in the same fashion. :)

It took me two years to get my first ace and I got it on my home course at Rio Don Do, hole # 10. Then about 5 weeks later aced hole number 8 on the beaver course, Cedar Hill outside of Dallas. Sweet little skip shot near the pond.
Great way to end the year!

Ya know the best thing about Disc Golf is the friends you find out on the course! The Z-Brothers, ie: Keith & Drew, found me as a fledgling DG'er and took me under their wings, even though I can't get a lot of tech. help as they both throw wicked sidearms and I throw a wussy rhbh, they have helped me ENJOY the game a lot more than if I played by myself! They always make me "step up" my game, weither it's… Continue

I am not the most athletic person but I do enjoy being outdoors, I am no Grizzly Adams but being outside is nice, and a couple of years ago I tried to take up ball golf. I thought I started out ok but soon realized that it can get expensive if you wanted to play a lot. So then a friend of mine that used to play ball golf a lot introduced me to disc golf. It is not as though I had never heard of it but I just never knew the intricacies of the sport. I have video and shot some photos of a couple… Continue

Tentative List of the Worst (for varying reasons including navigation issues, poor land useage, horrible course conditions constantly, design). Several on the list may be good for varying reasons too- only basket in the country, not allergic to ivy, or you already know how to navigate it.

My Top 25
Courses picks, in no particular order. Nearly as many that are on this list would tie for the 20-25th spots if there was room for that. I whittled it down to this for geographical and course style variety.
Worst 25 coming soon.
Hudson Mills Original, MI
Cass Benton, MI
Morraine State, PA

I saw Aaron Birdsall a while ago and he said he lost his fish again. This time I've made a 175 Q Omega red fish on yellow disc.
If you know Aaron, give him a heads up.

After staying up all night, we decided we should go to Grand Woods to get our first round of the year in. We got to the park around 8:30 am and were back home in bed by 10:30 am.

Isn’t it neat, The people you meet
In a wind tortured field, Or out in the street
People with happy faces, They've seen some good places
But others seem cold, And turn themselves old
Some seem deranged, The world had them changed
And some seem confused, They don't follow rules
But who says they're wrong? To sing they're own song
I won't step on they're dreams, Or say they don't belong
So be wary of strangers, But hear what they say
For they may be a… Continue
