Disc golfer and young musician

I get out to play disc golf when ever i can, and i go to tournaments around here, but my true love is music. So far i have learned to play 7 instruments (flute, viola, piccolo, recorder, piano, violin, and cello). Tomorrow, Sat. Feb, 2nd, i'm going to a solo and ensamble contest to play a solo on the flute and one on viola and a duet with my friend on piccolo. I'm really nervous, but i worked since sept. on all of my pieces so, hopefully, i should do well.

Making the Most of a Rainy Day

Right now in the northeast it is raining an about 40 degrees outside. Not the ideal conditions for playing disc golf. I think we have all seen the commercial where the camera pans through tiger woods home, looking at his accolades and trophies while the pattering of rain drops can be heard. Then at the end it shows tiger outside in the pouring rain practicing in a downpour. Maybe if the temperature was warmer I would be out playing, but right now the conditions are keeping me inside. Pretty good story, including a few photos. It doesn't show up in the news feed on the front page of this site because it doesn't have the words "disc golf" in the title. I'll comment on the story later when I have more time...
