This should have been posted last month, but... well... read the title.
DiscOrlando.com received an extreme home makeover in January 2010 in its never ending attempt to promote disc golf in Central Florida. Lots of new features, and content. I am always looking to add things, so if anyone ever has suggestions for something that might add value to the site and its visitors, feel free to holla!

Just got done playing the Big Foot Tourney in Humboldt. I recently finished tied for 2nd in the Ice Bowl Tournament AM division and lost the playoff. Not to sound like a broken record but after tying for second once again in the BF tourney i lost the playoff again. Man, there's something not right with that, lol. Oh well i erased a 9 stroke deficit on saturday to lose by a single stroke. I had a great time and got to meet and hang out with David Feldberg. The weather for the most part was nice,… Continue

I was re-reading a couple of articles about "Steady Ed" Headrick in an old issue of Disc Golf World News (#63 Fall 2002) and fell upon this article again. Upon reading it, it got me to thinking about another facet of disc golf that affects everyone's life. A facet that helps most of us to realize that it's the little things in life that put smiles on our faces. In coming to this realization, we can, hopefully, remember to "not sweat the big stuff". So, here it is. It's the Parting Shots article… Continue

Ok, so I finally am getting to writing down some stuff that I thought I would start this past Monday. Well, this winter I decided to get out and play more winter dg. Since early January, 2010, I've been getting myself out onto the courses for both physical and mental health.
Physically, I've been recovering from throwing my back out last fall and finding that my sacrum and hips are and have been completely out of wack. So, with the help of a great chiropractor who also uses physical therapy… Continue

I got the call about 9 am to meet at cedar Hill at 10 for a round with my usual group.

I wasnt expecting to play that day but was glad to go so off I went.
I'm still unemployed and just had enough gas to make it out there and back and had $2 to my name for the day and was about to run out of smokes.
Since I am the more active player amongst these guys and usually play better than them I thought today would be a… Continue

Stop. Close your eyes. Imagine. You’re standing on a hill, surrounded by whispering leaves and swaying aspens while accompanied by two of your closest friends or perhaps your spouse and children. Three hundred feet away stands a dazzling yellow monolith glimmering in the sunlight; light bouncing from its stainless steel chains. You hold a single round object—it reminds… Continue
