So I just got the green light from Puyallup Parks and Rec to start developing a plan for a DGC at Clarks Creek Park. The course should prove to be challenging to say the least... lots of elevation changes and technical tree holes. Stay tuned for news and photos of our progress.

SHHHHHHHHHH ! Focus......feel the weight of the disc......patience makes the reward outweigh the risk....Don't stray your eyes from that link....and just below it the shot will sink.....Now dig your feet into the earth ......and focus for all your worth....Double check your balance by swaying to and fro....Being sure to keep the lip up and don't fly low.....Put that limb ,that's poking you, out of your worry..... Knowing not doing so might make you hurry....Take a deep breath and let it… Continue

I meant to start this Jan 1, but time got away from me...
It would be great if I could make progress this season. The past few years, it seems, I've consistently been inconsistent. Once I made the jump over 900, I figured that I'd continuosly get better. However, my PDGA tells a different tale.
A major goal this season is to put together two good rounds per outing, rather than one good round and one horrible round. Recently, I'm becoming more apt at playing confidently.… Continue

Yes. I have finally taken the plunge and bought my first new disc golf bag since the early 90s. My old Wall City bag was just too small to accommodate a few extra discs I wanted to experiment with on the course and since I'm older now, I need to carry more water for those long courses. But, I gotta say that the old Wall City bag held up great with no rips or zippers getting caught or anything like that.
Now, I am the proud owner of a Discarrier bag. The golf bag is huge and with a… Continue

since the end of september I have not seen or thrown a disc,... well I have seen the glow turny qmega on my wall in my cabin,.. .tried to throw it and almost blew out my back and arms all at once,...
truth is I have wanted to quit this job because of the no disc in Mexico thing,... but the economy does not lend itself to that kind of behavior,...... SO now on Sunday afternoon I will re-enter the States for about 3 weeks,.. and then when I go back to Mexico,... the boat I am working on will… Continue

Played 24 at the monster course at Hudson Mills, played the recreational pars, first four holes it seemed like trees would spring up out of the middle of the fairway for a direct hit. I was throwing the Flash and the XS very well, though I did notice If I really get the flash up it noses back down hard to the right, it's kicking out to the left exactly how I want it, I guess I just need to keep it low. Overall it was a great game, if I was playing everything as a "par 3" probably would have… Continue

Things in my game are still getting better and better. I played a round today and made a lot of great drives and almost all of my approach shots were right on. What made my score over par was because I missed to many putts. I had 5 birdie attempts and missed on all of them. I guess its something that can be expected while I am still dusting myself off from the long break I had in the sport. What sucks, (but is also good) is that I missed those putts by inches but it shows that things are… Continue

Well I'm going to do something most people don't. I'm gonna post my favorite discs.
First my drivers I use a force for extreme over stable throws warning this disc is real over stable and should be thrown with caution. I like to use a destroyer or t-rex for long throws that need a little left fade at the end both discs fly pretty far and are fast. I throw a kc pro tee-bird for its predictability it's easy to throw and great for beginners.
My mid-ranges are: the buzzz it is easily my… Continue

Clint Ehlers ( founder of Orbital Enhancements) passed away Sunday March 22nd.
Clint left behind three beautiful children and a lot of friends.
Clint's passing has left his family without a father and a lot of us without a great friend/brother.
If you knew Clint and want to help the family, please email me. We are starting to raise some cash to help the family out. Clint was very instrumental in trying to bring Disc Golf courses… Continue

I played in the Spring Fling tournament this past weekend at Veterans Park in Florence, AL. It was a lot of fun and I came in 4th! Okay, Okay, so there were only 4 in my division, but I'm okay with that. I don't have that competive edge yet but I would have to say I had one heck of a good time with the other 3 women in my division who were Cristin, Caitlyn and Caren with a "C" who is now Caren with a "W". She WON in our division and I was really proud of her. When she birdied a hole, even I was… Continue

The Mt Pleasant club had a pretty good showing at this tourney this year. I drove down with John (Nacho) N, Jordan B and Jason H and we met up with Mark B, Jeff L, Keith A, TJ W and Rose P.
On my card were fellow Masters Thom Kelley from Midland and Derek from Lake Odessa and Mt Pleasant club player TJ Wilson. Originally, Mark Boring was on our card but things got switched around by the time the round started. My goal was to hopefully shoot even and then… Continue
