Wow! It's been over two months since I played last. This is the longest layoff that I've had since I started playing 8 1/2 years ago. Furman had a 6 p.m. baseball game against UNC-A and they have recently installed a 9 hole course on campus. Instead of going early to ride my bicycle, I went early to try the new course. I threw a 31 to be +4 for the round. Since I started with a double bogey and ended with a triple bogey, the rest of the round was pretty good. I birdied the 4th and 5th holes to… Continue

The growing popularity of the game of disc golf begins with the essential fact that throwing a flying disc with power and accuracy is a marvelous sensation. The constant challenge, the social nature of the game, the good physical and mental conditioning, and the fact that it is inexpensive to begin play are also attractions. Disc golf is a recreational…

Hi, it's me Cinque. You know - the guy that sports black ankle socks and North Face shoes. The guy with longish black hair and an unkempt beard. The guy you despise and push negative energy on each time you arrive to my local course. Yeah, that guy.
Why do you treat me so horribly? What have I done to deserve your wicked wrath?
I'm a nice guy, I swear. I treat others with respect even… Continue

Its been over a year since my last ace. Why have none come since then. At my home course I am down to only having 1 basket that I have yet to hit metal on (out of 18). Just yesterday I checked 2 baskets off my list of baskets to hit. Hole 8 I hit the cage about a half inch to to low, and on hole 5 I hit the pole. Besides that I blasted the chains on hole 14 but it kicked it back out. Is someone up there mad at me? Do I need to make a sacrifice to the Disc Golf Gods? I don't get it. I know its a… Continue

To all of you wonderful Disc golf friends of Dusan Nedelko - I wish I could thank you each individually for the kind words you have posted following Dusan's death. As much as our family is doing our best to deal with the tragic loss, I feel that it is very important to channel our energies to making sure that Dusan's dream of introducing disc golf to the world - and especially to children- will continue. I am personally devoting as much time and… Continue

I am trying to put together a couple of different stamp templates for my local league. I am having a difficult time finding any clip art that is disc golf specific. There are plenty of photos out there, but those won't work for making a stamp template. I am not artistically challenged, but don't have the ability to freehand very well. Any suggestions/submissions?

With the weather warming up, the courses in our area are starting to open. We are even thinking about taking a week and going to different courses in our region. In organizing a group to do this, I am wondering if it would be a good idea to get some sort of Short Term Medical Insurance
to cover our group while we are out and about. Most of the kids have some sort of coverage, but I suspect that… Continue

there may have been other factors.. I was really focused on each shot.
played a course I haven't been to in several years at least and stil had a nice confidence boosting round. I really bombed a few at ZBOAZ..
was such a boost to my confidence though.
