A very windy day at sunset!!!

Today is 4-3-09 and it was so windy about 40 mph. The day started off looking good,but at about 10:30 a storm blew in and got pretty ugly. I ended up with a 6 over after 18 holes. somehow i managed to birdie 18 to end the hellish round.you got to have a little bit of luck to make a 30 footer in 40 mph winds. Usually your disc either goes way up or just hits the ground.I got lucky!!Bag tag is in 2 weeks if its windy ill be ready.

Do you play disc with your girlfriend/wife or boyfriend/husband?

Shortly after I met my boyfriend in 2006, I discovered disc golf. I had never even heard of it before I knew him. Well at first, I really didn't get it, and after a while, I really didn't like it. My Backhand Successes (And Failures)....

As I write this, I have thrown a driver backhand just as far as any disc I've ever thrown forehand. I've noticed that my form (though far from great) is improving, and I now know how it feels to have a disc come out of my hand 'just right'. All of this, I believe, aided me in completing the best round I've ever thrown. I'm not about to say that shooting a +4 on a 12 hole course is in any way marvelous, but for a guy who could not break +6 to save his life, even on a course he'd played a hundred… Continue

How much money would you pay to get a favorite, lost and discontinued disc back?

My favorite disc was my 1993, Innova DX plastic Pirahna. I didn't know how much it weighed 'cause the number was worn off when I found it at the bottom of a pond a few years ago. But it was about 170-178 grams I would say. This was the only putter I used, I sunk so many nice putts with it, and some pretty difficult ones too. Getting Pepsi

This may be obvious to alot of people,but the growth,prosperity and eventual acceptance of any new sport depends on one thing...How it televises. Winter is finally creeping to an end for me...

Well....it's been a long winter for me up here at Michigan Tech. We still have a couple feet on the ground right now, but its all nasty and melting right now. It snowed for quite a bit today too...April 1st...and its still snowing....what kind of shit is that?
