throwing lefty

this is my first blog on discgolfersr.us so bear with me. I've been a member for a little while but haven't really managed this page. (stuck to my email and myspace)

i'm a right handed thrower but recently challenged myself to throw left handed. it's really working out well!! in my own opinion at least. right handed i canconsistently hit 300'. yesterday i paced it out and lefty... pushing 275'. i know for some of you 300' isn't that great but for me... it's a world of "umph" to get… Continue

New Top Ten course found on road trip

Ok, so today I got to Morraine State Park, in Portersville, PA. (finally, the directions sucked and sent me 4 miles off because of bad park signage, I will try to update them!)

It was about noon, cloudy with a chance of rain. On hole #1 right after I drove, Zach Zimmel (Zimnuts on here, I got him to sign up) showed up to play a round and catch up with his friends, so I joined them as my guide. Gower Park - Back with Bill and Carla

Bill and I finally got back together for our Thursday round at Gower. We went around four times and I was +2, +1, -2, and +1. I should have been -1 on the fourth round, but I ran into trouble on the last hole. There was a bunch of Hispanic kids playing along the right side of the fairway that forced me to stay left. Glass Blown Open

Took a trip up to Emporia Kansas for the 6th Annual Glass Blown Open.

Nice town, good people, GREAT course!

I met quite a few cool people there, bought a few discs, found and returned a few, fed a few to the Creek Monster (old Champion Valk and a BRAND NEW custom Dynamic Discs Orc.)

I had some really good shots and a metric ton of bad ones. I think I took a 6 or 7 every time on hole 2 of the Yellow Course. Never played Jones Park (Yellow or Silver) and they both… Continue
