Indy Leagues

5 weeks into leagues here in Indy, first 3 were to develope your handicap. I shot great 2 out of three of those weeks & not horrible the off week. With my handicap in order to cash I need to shoot like 4 down. Very possible since I average a couple above par at Washington Park and I usually leave a half dozen shots out on the course either missing 20 foot putts or nailing a tree early in a hole.

Gower Park Worked Late

I worked over 45 minutes tonight but got off so that I could meet Bill at Gower. But Bill was a no show. Coop said that he would come over if he could get his sleep in but he wasn't there either, so he must not have finished sleeping. But I used to work the graveyard shift and I know what a struggle that is.

Bit of a Break [non disc golf]

Minimal disc golf in this post. With Amateur Nationals coming up in less than two short weeks, just over a week really before the player's meeting/banquet on Thursday night, I figured I'd take a few days away from the game to recharge myself a little bit mentally. Maryland

Street, MD- Scarboro Hills: Other than being extremely rough on the edges, and on some holes, it's a great course. Medium length, technical. Hilly , grassy and mostly in woods with some into and out of woods holes, and some pure woods. Has insane ivy, easy to lose a disc, some holes on the back 9 tight and blind with overgrowth. This and that

Anyone else notice how extra fragrant the Russian olives are this spring? Maybe it is just because my allergies have been lighter and I can breathe through my nose. Anyone else having lighter spring allergies?

Waking up late, traffic, sand

I woke up at nearly 8:00, was planning to tee-off at 7:00 so I did not get in 6 rounds, not to mention insane traffic (45 minutes wasted) due to a NASCAR event or whatever. I didn't know they did that up north.

Pennsville, NJ- Riverview:A very nice recreational level 9 hole course along a lake, but never getting too close to risk losing a disc without a pretty bad shot. Grassy, open but with enough trees to craft shots on half the holes. Has some decent length, most holes well… Continue

Good Stretch

So far so good... I guess I am rounding into form at the right time. I was kind of worried that Thrills at the Mills (1022/985) would be a one time thing, just hot for one tournament and thats it. bryan doubles went smooth

so day was the first day of Bryan Sunday doubles ,and my first time hosting something of the sort .

I was kind of nervous that not a lot of people would show up .I was expecting like two others to show up but all together seven people show up .

South Jersey

Did not get much done today as I did not leave NYC until around 11, and it took well over an hour to get to the first course.

Manalapan, NJ- Manalapan Recreation Center:Very nice beginner course, has signs and is easy to play and is extremely short. 3 holes under 150ft! It circles around a soccer field on the fringe of the park in some nice trees. Most holes are very open, but gaurded pins creating 'tough' shots. well yesterday i throw a hot round in the rain my drives and putts have been on lately every round has great lots of ace runs but today i had a awful round at vienna i throw a 2 above not one birdie the wind was bad but i was very disappointed in myself
