Arby's Dairyfling in Marshfield, WI 2009

One of my goals came true this past weekend when my wife played in the tournament. Andrea threw more in the tournament in two rounds than all other throws combined (practice, etc...). She made me very proud and would be willing to consider doing some more smaller tournaments.

I gave my sister in law some discs Sunday in hopes that she will play in local one disc challenge at the end of the month with us.

Great tourney Tallahassee

what makes an event great? For me,its challenging holes,good friends to compete with(thanks Jack),smart event planners,and nice weather.T.D. Bob was friendly and ran the event smoothly. The locals I played with were quality golfers and nice folk. the courses were hard(very). the format of 48 holes day 1 and24 day 2 is the best.only a handful of players came.why? no women came to play? we need more people to play in these events and I dont see how this could be run better.

First Eagle!!!

Today at the Zoo Town Open I claimed some retribution for the second round the day before. I was solid all day and on hole 16 "Mirkgrass" a par 5 approx. 800 ft. hole with ob on each side of a 20 ft. fairway my drive with my Assassin went about 400 ft. down the right side of the fairway and faded to the edge of OB but stayed in. Out of Town Monthly Tourneys

The last 3 weeks I've gone up to Orange County and played in monthlies at El Dorado, La Mirada and yesterday Huntington Beach. I'm steadily improving each time I go up. El Dorado was the first organized event I played outside San Diego so I was a little nervous, especially when I found out that they put me in the Advanced division. so my casey, randy, and taresa went and shot a new course today on lake lewisville and it is a bad ass course. didnt shoot that great but then we went and played doubles out at bear creek and it took 20 holes to decide who was the winner me and casey shot pretty good 3 down but lost to randy and taresa by one stoke. i did learn a new putting method and it worked out amazing so im excited to try it out at veterans tommorow hopefully great hope to see everyone out there bright and early tommorow. anyone got ideas for disc golf TEAM games?

A couple of firends and I were wondering if anyone out there has good ideas for mini games to play- b/c we are tired of just playing the same ole game of trying to improve vs your best score.

I've read some interesting drinking games that you all have posted, but I can't always get wasted on the course, so i was hoping to find some sober ideas.

Mini #2

Ok so I played again today!!!! It was fun, started off not so good but I didnt get any time to warm up really because I got off work late!!! && on top of that my wonderful boyfriend lost my beast while playing one round on monday so I had to go get another one!!! and OF COURSE that one doest fly anything like my old one, but thats ok cause i have started using the starfire ( i think thats what its called). Greer- 36 Holes

I called Bill after work today and he and Carla met me at Greer for a round. I played up and down the first time around and threw a +6 60. Bill wanted to go a second round and I played a little better and finished +2 at 56. 60 and 56 are the same scores that I posted at the Iron Man single disc tournament at Greer in the early spring. Timmons - Back Nine

I played the back nine at Timmons after work today. After the first hole (#10) I talked briefly with Chad as he was coming down to play some before weekly doubles. My putting was sorry today as I missed 4 putts in the 20 to 25 foot range - a par and three birdies. I bogeyed #11 and birdied #17 to play an even round. I am thinking about buying one of Bill's baskets to practice putting in the back yard and start throwing long over at Greenville Middle School.

Timmons - Front Nine

After work I started laundry then ran over to Timmons to get in a quick nine holes. I ran into Bill Meeks and his neighbor John. When I teed off on #4 they had just teed off on #5. They had played Greer and were finishing up with Timmons. I was trying to work on using my sidearm with my short game, so scoring was a little erratic.
