Destiny has brought me back?

So facebook disabled my account on me... I googled "m-kay facebook" (my facebook account name) and stumbled across this site.

An update on me:

I will be attending the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater fall 2009 as long as I can get into a dorm. I'm super excited to get out there to meet new people and hopefully make life long friends. I can't wait to play the course there, Patrick created it. They also have a bowling alley there which I plan to apply at and hope… Continue

Getting better at Shawnee

So I shot a 59 at Shawnee tonight (+5). Not a real impressive score but considering my course low is 61 and I shot a 75 at the LSDiscs open, it's a definite improvement. I'm driving longer, shooting better midrange, and hitting putts. I have a feeling more birdies are on the way. Can't wait for the Sunflower games!

2 new DG players

I was able to convince my sister-in-law AMY and friend Mary to play the One Disc Challenge at North Wood County Park this past weekend. Amy had never played a hole and Mary only a couple rounds. Both would likely play in another tournament.

Gateway was very good with their sponsorship of the tournament and the gals came away with their first discs. My wife also played and had a wonderful time for her second tournament. How long before SB plays his first?

For those of you who don't already know....Ken Climo proposed to me over Christmas 2008...We are officially engaged. July 28th marked our 4 year commitment to each other and a blissfully happy 4 years it has been. I couldn't ask to share my life with anyone better than he. He is truly a great father to his beloved son Keegan, the best "Daddy Bear" to my 6 year old daughter Logan-Marie and an extraordinary friend to know and have. I am a lucky woman! Each passing year brings me more smiles and… Continue

Greer with Bill and Erica

I played Greer this evening. Erica said that she was coming and I called her when we were supposed to tee off and she was lost. She finally arrived and while she was taking some throws Bill and Carla showed up. We played a round there and I was +6 for a 60. I was -1 on the front and +7 on the back. I threw double bogeys on 11 and 12 with a pile of bogeys. That was disappointing. But we had a good time anyway.

Gower and Holmes

I went to Gower and Holmes Parks this morning. At Gower I birdied #2 while parring the rest to end at -1. At Holmes I birdied #2 and #6 while throwing a bogey on #4 to finish at -1. That left me at -2 for 18 holes. That isn't bad for me, but I can throw much better. I had birdie looks at Gower on #1, 3, 7, 8, and 9. At Holmes I was struggling off the tee, but I still had looks at #1, 3, 5, and 7.
