I am playing flip city tonight and trying to get that ace pool money and see a bunch of old friends. Tournament saturday in Big Rapids, three leagues next week, and Flip City Tournament the next Sunday. Then South Cacillac bound.

The forehand roller I never knew I had...

I am pretty excited in the newest development of my game, a forehand roller. I have only been working on this for a few weeks and they already go as far as my average backhand or sidearm drive. the process started more or less as an exit strategy for sneaking out of the woods after a poor drive. Sweet! It worked and then some. Right now I am still in the experimental stages; I am working with my Flicks, Avenger and Xcaliber. I have tried my sidewinder as well, but with less success than my… Continue

Worlds Blog #1- Advanced Women

I took 13th place in a tough field. Not bad considering my shoulder was wearing down quickly through the week. Congrats to Mo on takin home the title. All the young girls in our division did really well: Rebecca & Michelle Frazer, Paige Pierce, Haliegh Shepherd. I wish I would've been playing when I was a teenager. Congrats girls!

I met so many great ladies last week and got to see some that I met at Worlds 4 years ago. Melissa (Canada!), Kim, Becky, Stacey, Tiffany, Toni,… Continue

Team Jenkins! 2 World Champs!

Congratulations to Avery and Valerie Jenkins on their 2009 world championships! I was watching "live scoring" much of the week, and it was killing me last night, as I had to leave my Internet connection for the night when Avery was going to hole 4 of the sudden-death playoff. A good relief it was to see the end result this morning.

My back yard, featuring a tri-state basket sold to me by world champion Avery Jenkins. I'll have to get… Continue

2009 Spiritwood Open Win

YES!!!! I took 1st place at the 2009 Spiritwood Open....unfortunately it was in Adv. Am.
I decided to drop a division to see how I play in Adv. and I played well. The top of the division was tight and I edged out the win on the final hole with a 3 on a hole that has an avg. of 4.5...so it was a great last hole for myself.

That gives Team Gateway a win in Adv. Am.....lol...I need to step up my game.

Chains of Hope - Greer

I played in the Chains of Hope charity tournament in Greer today. There were only two seniors, Armand and me. There was only one woman, Danielle. So they put Danielle with Armand and me. We called it the Senior Woman's division. Armand and I threw identical scores. He beat me by two strokes in the morning and I beat him by two strokes in the afternoon. I threw a 57 and a 53. I didn't buy any mulligans for the morning round and I bought 5 for the afternoon. I used all five although one did me no… Continue
