Reuinted with my very first disc!

I first started playing disc golf when I was fairly young, around 9 years old. At that point, the only reason I was playing was because I used to follow my brother around everywhere...and he played. As you can probably imagine, I was SO bad...I could only throw like 45 ft spike hyzers. Well anyway, my brother always let me use the same disc and it happened to be a DX Ching Stingray with a full color Buddha stamp. At the time, I was by no means in love with the disc. The older my brother got the… Continue

RIP: ESP Banger-GT

ESP Banger is buh-bye: this is your official heads up that Discraft has stopped production of Banger GT IN ESP PLASTIC. Those remaining copies at retailers will be the last.

Reason: after more than two years of a slow economy, ESP sales have lagged in favor of more affordable plastic. ESP Banger was -- in effect -- downsized.

Pro D and Soft X Banger GT sales remain very strong, and there is no danger of those models being discontinued.…

weight loss

Hi,everyone, I am a 220 pound guy who stands about 5-8'. I am a tattoo artist so Im lazy! I often find that disc golf is the only excersise I get for the most part. When I started the sport I was 250 pounds, so I give disc golf a thumbs up for weight loss. My name is jack wallace and I approve this message.

$15,000.00 ace shot tomorrow. oh joy.

no stress!!! haha.

I've entered 2 tournaments this year since I am employed again and had to back out of both of them at the last minute due to injuries. so this time I haven't played in a week and I'm not playing the doubles today.

I think I can survive 2 rounds tomorrow :)

I think it's for a good cause tomorrow and I helped put in the baskets at Turner park so maybe some good luck will come my way. so yeah.. I'm excited about the possibilities.

and $15,00 up for… Continue

What a sport..... and other random meanderings

Its amazing how addictive this sport is. Disc Golf seems to take up so much of my time and thoughts now, I dont know what I did before I was invited to play by a mate..... I must have had a heap of spare time though! Starting a club from scratch was a challenge, but we all pulled together and that was achieved. The next big hurdle was organizing a really big State Tournament, and we did that exceptionally well. This year in October, we're hosting the Australian National Championships, and…

Congrats 2010 World Champ Eric McCabe!

What a performance, what a guy. E-Mac has always been one of the sport's finest ambassadors, and now he has a much deserved top title. McCabe exemplifies the 'putt for dough' mantra, and was essentially flawless through the final 2.5 rounds at Worlds to win by a five-throw margin. WTG champ!…
