Where It All began!

New World Record

On Sept 18-19, 2010 I played 1114 holes of disc golf and set a new world record for the "Most holes of disc golf played in 24 hours". I played at Beth Schmidt Park in Elon NC from noon Saturday until noon Sunday.

REALLY??? 10 th Place in Rec @ the Labor Day Luau shooting 58/53 (par57)

First pdga event. Would have placed top 5 but the sandbaggers like to play the wrong division to discourage true am players from starting or competing, shooting a consistent 10- each for the top 2 or 3 spots...LAME. Bet ya won't whoop the divisions up the line like that (and forget long pad play)!

I shot an honest 1+ on the first round and 4- on the second (my best round ever in tournament play).

My First PDGA Win! (AM2)

This weekend I won my first PDGA sanctioned tourney, playing Intermediate! It was the Old Settler's Open at Prairie Center Park in Olathe, KS--a one-day C-tier on 9/4/10. I had never played the course before, but the prospect of playing a Dynamic Discs Tourney at a new course led me to drive the 2+ hours each way to play. Boy, was that drive worth it.
