Just have to say I cannot forgive them for putting out another new, crappy album. LAME
This is the 3rd night dealing with hassle of bad rooms at a Motel 6 this week. I'm about to just sleep in the car.
Also, I seem to have forgotten the FIRST ever course I played on my list..at 10 years old at a Boy Scout camp, w frisbees and posts. It was a tournament, and was set-up in advance, so I'm calling it a course. That adds 1 more.
Plus today I got a 'Bonus' course,… Continue

I've got to be one of the cheapest golfers around. I find ways to not spend all my money on equipment. Instead of buying a real bag, I converted one I already had; I buy used discs and found a pull around cart at Goodwill.
Far from looking stylish, I don't care if you get a laugh from me or not. I play with in my means and enjoy to stand alone if you can't wrap your head around the fact that the poor love the game too. I currently have duct taped (yes) my none really golfers bag to… Continue

Today I spent the better part of the afternoon doing clean up work at my favorite course Bandemer. I have put in a lot of time working on this course in the last year. from keeping the tees clear in the winter to making small but needed improvements to the course. Today i mowed the fairways down on 7 and 8. Took me and my brother about 21/2 hours of work to get it done but man does it look good. I do this for others in hopes that the course gets used more. It also helps me.later this evening… Continue

I called Bill today and he convinced me to play with him at Timmons today. I hadn't played at Timmons since the Queer on the hill finally forced the city to take out much of the course.
I hadn't played at all in 7 weeks and I have had a severe cold for the past 10 days, so I wasn't in very good form. I have also had a pinched nerve in my neck since June and it really weakened my right shoulder. Now is the time to get off my fat duff and start strengthening that shoulder and also… Continue

I'll be there tomorrow night, and for a couple days.
I actually have a signal at this campground, it's a miracle.
Baton Rouge, LA- Highland Road:
Nice mix of long and short, open and somewhat tight. Has creek, small hills, well mowed grass, big trees, some woods and rough, a map supposedly available (I downloaded mine- and without one you will NOT be able to navigate it very well, if at all) and some tee signs. Tees are dirt, loose dust. Many big arm duece ops… Continue

I received word today that I have a slap tear in my right shoulder. It's the kind of injury usually reserved for major league pitchers, tennis players, and quarterbacks, but it looks like it's the overhead shots that did it for me. I don't even use those shots that often, but when I was working on them this August, I really hurt my self. I have only played a handful of times since then because it's been so painful to play. My ortho. doc. told me that surgery is the best / only way to… Continue

Putt, putt, putt! I wanna be making everything inside 30ft by the end of the year. I need to practice putting a lot.
830 player rating
Increase distance and accuracy- throwin 350 at least! Right now I'm at about 300.
MENTAL GAME needs a lot of work- I don't even know how to phrase it as a goal!
Where am I on my 2008 goals?
Putting- I have changed my putting a lot, and I am definitely way more confident. I have a basket in my backyard now, thanks to a friend… Continue

Hey, I just received this email from a fellow disc golfer. Check it out.
The IOC checked out disc golf by following the lead card at the World
Games in Japan in 2004. Let's all give them a nudge by signing this
petition letting them hear our voices.
Contact me with any questions and I will provide prompt answers.

Lafayette is probably the most trashed, dirty city I've ever seen. And I mean actual trash. It's like no one ever heard of a trash can or recycling. These people should be ashamed of themselves. Not to mention the courses were so bad and the city looks worse than Detroit in most places.
I just had to move hotel (60 miles) and drive to Baton Rouge instead of in the morning due to non-working wi-fi. Now it doesn't work here! I am going to raise some hell over the phone and try to get a… Continue

No internet again last night, due to camping at another state park. These state parks are putting in courses left and right, too bad they are not using experienced course designers, if they did that they'd have a good thing going down here instead of a handful of useless courses.
All the courses today were on the low scale, disappointing.

Up to now, I have taken charge of the design of the disc of some tournaments. This work is a serious undertaking though it comes very satisfactorily. I
t thinks about the concept etc. of the tournament, it is necessary for the design, and it is necessary.
Moreover, it is serious because there are some limitations.
In the future, I will introduce the disk designed little by little (Though it is a… Continue

I was out working helping some friends in Trinity county on my weekend, which bummed me out becuse the nearest DGC was in Weaverville (45 minutes away). Then my friend sugested that we make a course on his property the next day. We all were up partying late, drinking tequila and beer, but me unlike them was still up at 8:30 ready to go to work. I decided that well they were all sleeping I would get out and start making the course. In a few hours I had 9 holes layed out with sticks for pins and… Continue

Tuscaloosa, AL- Bowers:
Begins with 3 long (420'+) holes through tall pines at the edge of the forest, where the rest of the course is. Very tight and sometimes long, doglegs and straight tunnels up and down hills in thick, very rough unfinished woods. A few creek hazards, one basket on hill 10' from the intersection of two creeks. I wouldn't dare play here in spring/summer due to my 3 leafed friend, but it was tolerable in the fall. The woods are not clean, lots of thorns, saplings, low… Continue

so I broke down and brought 2 new putters ,I used glow aviars for the last 4 of because i like the grip but didnt like how they broke in when they got older .
So i got two star aviars in 170-172 and so far i'm not sure if i like them ,they seem like the bounce when the hit in the basket and i noticed some bounce outs that i wouldn't normally get hopefully this changes when they get older if not i'm going to switch back .
I also got two champion bosses which i like them after a couple… Continue

I went and played at Kentwood Park near NC State yesterday. I managed to get a round in finishing with 45 strokes. I got greedy and decided to play another 9 holes. On the second round in I managed to not focus on Hole #3 because a group of 5 people told me I could play through. Hole 3 is a small 220 ft hole with O.B. Creek on the left. Stupid me, just grabbed the 12x KC Pro Aviar and hurried my drive. The creek is usually pretty shallow but the disc managed to find the deepest… Continue

Yes I'm camping. For some reason Motel 6 thinks 80$ is a reasonable rate for a hotel in Alabama. Like anyone wants to be in Alabama that bad?
Oakand, MS- George Payne Cossar State Park:
2/3 of the holes are medium and technical, half of those in a pine tree forest half in a more open, leafy treed grassy area by the lake. 1/3 are longer and nearly wide open, near water but not a real hazard. Great views of the lake, dam, bluffs, wildlife. Well groomed grounds, well balanced… Continue

My phone might be broken, it turns off and on for no reason all the time now. It might have to do with bad service, but I did a hard-reset and erased it, and it's still happening. So I might not be online very often at all for a long time if I can't fix this.
Most of today was spent getting dumped on by rain and covered in mud, trying to navigate really poorly thought and layed out courses with minimal signage.
