Native American Summer

Every year the Chicago Tribune used to publish a cartoon around this time of year entitled, "Injun' Summer" that showed an atumnal moment with burning leaves under a full moon. I always loved that cartoon despite its politically incorrect title and characterizations. Its just that the cartoon made me feel, taste and smell Fall. I have always enjoyed this time of year. Master of puppets I'm pulling your strings

w00t! Back on the road. Today could be a contender for one of the best days on tour as well.

First off, just wanted to mention gas. I got some for 2.98$ today. Just goes to show how we are all puppets in the politician's and oilmen's grand sceme. We should be happy it's down, and outraged we have been getting jerked around for 7 years!

Practicing Golf Shots

I thought I'd just share views on the different things that help me improve at this game. I'd like to see more of this kind of thing from other players who are better than me (which is most of them.)

When I practice, which is once I week these days off the course, I don't simply go to an open field and see how far I can get the thing to fly anymore (just far enough for par, right). Instead, I find an uncrowded public park with lots of space and lots of trees, and practice executing… Continue

Leaving in the morning

Back on the road as of tomorrow morning around 5 am, if I can get up.

Planning to play Ottawa park in Ottawa, Ohio (may skip and go straight to Idlewild) then Idlewild, then Radcliff KY, then on to Bowling Green for the night. It is going to be an arduous day. All packed and ready.

Computer down

My laptop screen is acting up, and I think it's going to be permanently broken any day now. It just starts flickering or turning off for no reason, sometimes for minutes and can either be fixed by moving it or sometimes just waiting. It even stays off when re-booting sometimes. I think it's a bad connection to the base, which won't be worth the cost of fixing.

DG, my drug of choice.

I just started playing Sept. 13th of this year and disc golf is already my drug of choice! I love it. Doing ok I guess for someone that's only been playing going on 4 weeks. Last Tuesday night I went out with the local league and shot a +30. gasp! I don't perform well under pressure (yeah I know, some excuse). so I went to owatta park today, and threw a round from the shorts and beat me pb at 7 under and felt at even then I could do much better .

every shot that I didnt hit a birdie I was very close are the disc bounced off the chains not that my putting wasn't good but it seemed I had some bad luck or I was out of my putting zone so I felt pretty good.

Seriously Now

Went out and played today at Knollwood course. I was shooting well, I have shot better but I definitely wasn't doing poorly. I hit the basket 5 different times, on different holes.Came so close. I hate it when I do that its like come on just give me the friggin ace! But atleast I am pretty sure I will do well when the Ace Race comes to Knollwood. Since its most aces or most metal hit.

Hilarious

So you know how you always see those videos on shows like Americas Funniest Home videos of people playing sports and the camera man or woman gets it or something along those lines?
